How we got here: In Company Round Cabo Corrubedo to Boiro

Muros, Galicia → Boiro, Galicia

Left Muros with the wind finally backing north again as the low pressure system that had pinned us under southerlies pulled away — still unsettled, not fully stable, but enough to sail on for a change. Rounded the Barbanza peninsula in company with Odysseia, Spindrift and Taro, the four of us keeping loose formation for the whole leg. 35.2 nm, 7h34m at sea, 5h15m of that under engine.

Odysseia peeled off for Ribeira as we came into the Ría de Arousa; the rest of us carried on and anchored together off Boiro — our first time on the hook this trip, still watching the forecast rather than trusting it. A lone dolphin worked the bay while we were settling in.

What we did here

Our first anchorage of the trip — swinging on the hook in the bay off Boiro rather than tied up alongside, a change of pace after a run of marinas.

Had a swim in the bay, and evening drinks with Taro and Spindrift aboard our boat.
